SVTOA On-Track 2008 / Camp Steeda is designed to be educational as well as exciting. You'll be able to tune your driving ability with both classroom and trackside instruction provided by performance driving pros such as Jeff Lacina, SVTOA's Lead Instructor, as well as many other veteran instructors. Plus, you'll get a one-on-one opportunity to speak to some of the folks who had a hand in the production the GT500, Ford GT, and other SVT performance vehicles.
The event will also feature the latest Steeda Q Mustangs and performance parts. The all-conquering 1995 Steeda Cobra R – the famed No. 20 car – returns again this year, as enthusiasts will be able to ride in the winningest Cobra R from 1995-97. Steeda’s 1993 Cobra R, one of 107 produced and the first 'R' Model Mustang to win a race, will also be on hand providing rides at speed around the race course. The Cobra R models at the event are not static museum pieces; these cars are extremely fast and exciting to watch.
Industry leading companies such as Steeda and Nitto Tires are event sponsors and will be on hand to showcase their latest products, as well as provide technical assistance and advice. Ford and SVT Engineering plan to have people attending the event, lending special insight into Ford performance products. And editors from many of the major Mustang publications will be participating as well, always on the lookout for well-turned-out vehicles for their magazines.
