| Adobe's GoLive September 20 Meeting By Kathy Holton Well, the meeting didn't start off very well. I arrived at Appleridge only to find the room dark, no TV and we weren't listed on the schedule. Oh no, did I get the date wrong? The very helpful receptionist made a quick call to Earl who assured us both the room was all approved and this was the correct day. So up we went to search out a TV. After lunch time a maintenance person arrived with TV in tow. Now we were ready to start the demo! Well almost...The TV did not recognize the Mac was connected. We tried everything, even reading the "French" manual. (none of us could read French). Keith, where are you when I need you? Anyway we did finally get started and huddled around my 15" PowerBook to view the demo. It was awkard at best typing at an angle and trying to be sure everyone could see behind me. (I seemed to be the only one bothered by this.) Today's demo was Adobe's GoLive , a web designing application. I showed how to start a project from a template then create of new project. Moving on to show how to add objects such as tables, images, text and links to a webpage. Finally moving on to how components work and what a time saver they can be. Finally, I showed the seamless way GoLive and Photoshop work together. We discussed the WebDAV and FTP browsers built into GoLive.
